I want you – as well as the rest of the constituents of the 26th Legislative District – to know what an honor it would be for me to represent you in the Maryland General Assembly in Annapolis and to join with you in strengthening our community.
I want to be a part of the legislative process that will allow me to be YOUR voice in Annapolis. Together, we can face whatever challenges are ahead and work to turn those challenges into opportunities.
All parents – mothers and fathers – want the best for their children. It is in this spirit that I am running for the House of Delegates. Simply put, my campaign platform is motherhood.
As a mother, I want to ensure that the future of not only my children, but your children, your children’s children is a fruitful one. I want the children of our county and state and their families to feel safe in their neighborhoods and to know that the education system is above par.
Another issue that has been raised time and time again is that of in-district specialties and services. Why should the residents of Prince George’s County, specifically the 26th Legislative District, have to travel to other counties to enjoy high-end dining, entertainment and retail shopping?
With projects such as National Harbor and the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, our district is progressing economically. I would like to be a part of that by continuing to spur economic development within the county and our district.
As a life-long resident of the district, I know where we have been. We’re off to a great start, but as we all know there is much more to be done. Given the opportunity, I intend to represent and serve you to the best of my ability in Annapolis.
